Unlike traditional farewells, Carlson did not receive a final show to say goodbye to his audience. Instead, his last program on Fox News was broadcast on Friday, April 21. The announcement comes a week after the network settled a massive defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million. The lawsuit was filed regarding the network's dissemination of misinformation regarding the 2020 presidential election.
