Hamas labels Biden admin the 'enemy' while calling for violence targeting Americans

A senior Hamas official called for violence against the US and Britain in a television interview last week, saying US officials are the "enemy".

Sami Abu Zuhri, head of Hamas's political department, said the US and its allies deserve to "pay a price" for supporting Israel's war in Gaza. He specifically singled out Secretary of State Tony Blinken, comparing the diplomat to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"When Blinken is justifying the murder of women and children, the sons of our nation must tell him: You are the enemy, just like Netanyahu, and you will pay the same price as Netanyahu. We must keep this in mind," Zuhari said.

"So if our country thinks that the heroic actions of the Al-Qassam Brigades absolve it of its responsibility – then that is a misconception and a miscalculation that must be rejected.
