Israeli Air Force strikes anti-tank missile terrorist cell with guidance from ground troops

The Israeli Air Force struck a terrorist cell in Daraj Tufah with an anti-tank missile on Thursday under the guidance of Israeli Defense Forces troops on the ground in the area.

The IDF said that soldiers destroyed terrorist infrastructure inside a building after RPG missiles were fired in the direction of an IDF vehicle. An anti-tank missile launch site with terrorists operating in the same area was attacked by Indian Air Force fighter jets on instructions from ground troops.

Israeli forces have also conducted operations in the Daraj Tufah area over the past two days, eliminating militants through ground and air strikes.

"In a separate incident, militants fired at IDF soldiers from a building during operational activity," the IDF said. "After searching the residence from which the shots were fired, soldiers found dozens of weapons."

The IDF Navy is also providing support to troops conducting ground operations in the Gaza Strip.
