Missing pregnant teen Savanah Soto, boyfriend found dead in Texas

 Savannah Soto, 18, was nine months pregnant and was reported missing after failing to show up for her scheduled induction

A pregnant teenager who was missing since Friday was found dead along with her boyfriend in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday.

Family confirmed to Fox San Antonio that 18-year-old Savannah Soto and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra were found dead in a car at Colinas Medical Apartments in San Antonio.

According to Soto's family, she was nine months pregnant and one week past her due date.

SAPD Chief William McManus provided some information during a news conference Tuesday night. He confirmed that a woman and a man were found dead in a car and said police believed the bodies to be those of Soto and Guerra. He refused to confirm the identity of the deceased.

McManus called the crime scene "complex" and "disturbing." He said detectives are treating the scene as a possible homicide.

The Texas Department of Public Safety on Monday issued an advisory warning for Soto, who was last seen Friday at her apartment complex in Leon Valley.

"The Leon Valley Police Department has been notified of the disappearance of Savannah Nicole Soto, who was reported missing by her family. Ms. Soto, who is pregnant and past her due date, "There has been considerable concern among his family members following this. Necessary medical appointment," the alert read.

Police were looking for a 2013 Kia Optima. McManus confirmed Tuesday night that two bodies were found in a Kia Optima linked to Soto's disappearance. He said the family was alerted to the car at the apartment complex and police were called.

It is unclear how Soto and Guerra died.

When McManus was asked whether a gun was found in the car, he declined to comment, saying the medical examiner still needed to examine the bodies.
