OUT OF ENDER EastEnders fans spot glaring blunder after explosive showdown in soap’s Christmas special

Ten exciting months came to an end during last night's installment of the London-based program when soap watchers finally found out who was killed and who committed the murder at the Queen Vic.

There was an uproar in Albert Square last night when Suki Panesar (played by Balvinder Sopal) decided to publicly profess her love for Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), as the couple prepared for an early exit from Walford .

As expected, Suki's husband Nish Panesar (Naveen Chaudhary) throws a tantrum, refusing to let his wife go

In recent scenes, Nish and his son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) were both arrested for Eve's murder, but Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) reveals that Eve is still alive and well. He was released last night.

Ravi was the first one back at number 41, warning Suki that Nish would not be far behind her and, soon, the businessman was back to torment his other half.

Sookie is forced to skip Christmas dinner with her family as Nish is adamant and refuses to let their marriage end.

But in a shocking twist, Ravi's path to redemption begins when he battles his own father to help Sookie escape and find Eve.

The confrontation took place in the Panesar kitchen, with Ravi using all his strength to keep Nish away from Suki.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Panesars, including Ravi's children Avni and Nugget, were enjoying their Christmas dinner in the other room, seemingly oblivious to the chaos going on in the kitchen with the fans on.

"So is the rest of the family eating dinner while Ravi and Nish are tearing it up in the kitchen?", one of them commented on X, formerly known as Twitter.

This prompted another viewer to reply: "Houses are apparently soundproofed. Seriously though, I've been in that kind of situation and we were too scared to get into it."

A third soap fan quipped, "Still thinking how Priya, Avni, Vinny and Nugget were stuffing their faces while Nish and Ravi were killing each other in the kitchen."

However, the comic relief was short-lived, as Sookie tried to look for Eve, but bumped into Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and the pair fled to the Queen Vic.

Ravi was unable to keep Nish away from Suki for long as the villainous businessman eventually found him in the prestigious pub and another brawl ensued.

While Nish is desperately trying to drag Suki back home, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Stacey all try to pull him away from Suki. Tried to help.

Denise was ultimately successful when she killed him with a bottle, thus showing the scene in February, 2023 in a terrifying flashforward that left TV fans stunned.

Sharon declares Nish dead and shows the cufflinks as proof that he may have been Christmas' victim all along.

But when Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), a heartbroken man and father, shows up, things take another turn and Nish is revealed to be a red herring.

Keanu tried to strangle Sharon while they were fighting at the bottom of the stairs over Albie.

The women stand motionless, stunned by the scene, while Sookie tries to revive Nish, until Sharon's best friend Linda takes action... and stabs Keanu, killing him.

Nish eventually regains consciousness after Suki gives him the kiss of life, then learns that Keanu was killed.

How will the six men cope after the crime? What will Linda do?

EastEnders is broadcast on BBC One.
