Video shows Illinois deputy deliver DoorDash order after driver gets arrested: 'No one went hungry'

An Illinois law enforcement officer was captured on video delivering a DoorDash order to a customer after the driver was arrested during a traffic stop.

In a Facebook post Thursday, the Kane County Sheriff's Office posted video of Deputy Milner walking toward a home with an order in hand.

"My deputies always follow up," Kane County Sheriff Ron Hahn said. "After arresting a food delivery driver, he carried out orders to ensure that no one went hungry."

Ring doorbell camera footage from January 14, 2024 shows Milner walking home on a snow-covered sidewalk. He then presses the doorbell, at which time a dog barking is heard from inside.

The resident then tells Milner, "You guys are amazing. Thank you."

DoorDash did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's inquiry on the matter.

Amy Johnson, chief public information officer for the Kane County Sheriff's Office, told Fox News Digital that food delivery driver Abraham J. Salazar Salas was stopped for a traffic stop. He was charged with unspecified misdeeds.
