Trump claims hush money trial is being rushed as it is set to begin next month

Former President Donald Trump claimed the hush money trial against him in New York is being rushed and called it "election interference."

“You have a case that... they're dying to get this thing started. The judge cannot move faster than this. “He wants to start this so badly,” Trump said.

If the trial moves forward on April 15, it could be Trump's only criminal trial to take place before the November general election. The trial will begin one year after charges are filed.

Trump also argued that there should be no lawsuits during the election and attacked his rival, President Joe Biden.
